Rudyard Kipling’s If is one of my favorite poems (and I am not big on poems :)) and it is very hard to actually choose just a part of it. But every time I read it, I find myself getting goose bumps when I get to the last four lines as they are the perfect conclusion to everything else said in the poem.
“If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run –
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And – which is more – you’ll be a Man my son!”
