cookies and cream

I fell behind on my posting a little bit after the holidays but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been super excited to post about THIS party.  I wanted this to be MY birthday party.  It was like a dream!  The decorations were incredible (down to the tiniest detail) with delicious cookies, strawberry milk, chocolate milk, regular milk, all kinds of pinks and browns, delicious party favors and an awesome cake!   It was a feast for the eyes and the tummies:)  Yummy and beautiful!  I can’t tell you how excited I was to be a part of it!  And the birthday girl was adorable!  She had a BLAST with all her friends and relatives.

PS – Bacon in chocolate and cookies – not as scary as you might think:)  Pretty yummy actually.

two chairs and a couch

So this big family was able to get everyone together again for a big family photo session.  I can’t tell you how happy I was that the guys were willing to carry the chairs and couch up the road a little (“a little”, I discovered, was a matter of opinion depending on whether you were carrying furniture or not:)).  But it was not for nothing.  I love the challenge of a large group – you just never know what you get especially with the little ones.  And sometimes the big ones.  And I have to add – the mustache pictures and the girls pictures – some of my favorite.  It is so easy when the group you are photographing is willing to have fun even on a chilly fall day.

little baby jax

This little guy was adorable and cute and a delight to photograph.  You’ve seen his sister a couple of times before – here and here.  And now it’s his turn – welcome to this world little baby Jax!

and the winner is…

Remember the drawing we had a few months ago and our winner?  Well a few busy months later and trying to coordinate schedules, we have our winning photo session.  We did so much in a short time.  The boys were a blast and my favorite part was them wrestling on the grass!  Pure joy:) Thank you guys for being fun and awesome!
